Sunday Lunch preview from Gordon Dunbar

Sunday Lunch radio programme tomorrow has an interview with Tom Perchard. His family have farmed on Jersey for over 400 years and he is an active Christian on the island.
He tells us about the liberation of Jersey in May 1945 and speaks movingly about the spirit of reconciliation which now exists between the islanders and the German people.
A good illustration of Romans 5:10 ‘When we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of His Son.’

Sunday Lunch with Gordon Dunbar

Sunday Lunch radio programme tomorrow has good Christian music including Phatfish version of ‘There is a day’ featuring Lou Fellingham.
Other items of interest include the story of how Graham Kendrick came to write his hymn ‘For this I have Jesus’, and Archie Deans tells us more about the St Andrews outreach due in August.
Derek Stringer’s thought for the day is entitled ‘Don’t miss the point’ and, as usual, Derek makes his point well!
